Now accepting the first clubs
An AI receptionist
that only says what
you told it.
It answers your prices, opening hours, coaching, membership and policies around the clock, in your own words. It never invents availability and never guesses. Anything it cannot answer, it takes the enquirer's email address and sends you the question with the whole conversation.
Riverbend Padel & Tennis
Usually answers instantly
It does not take bookings. That is deliberate.
You already have Playtomic or MATCHi, and they work well. CourtDesk never touches your calendar and never guesses whether a court is free. It answers the questions around the booking, then directs members to your existing link when they are ready to reserve.
Four things that are true of this and not of a chatbot.
It only says what you told it
Every answer comes from information you have approved, in your own words. Ask it something you have not covered and it says it does not know, rather than producing something plausible. That is the difference between a receptionist and a chatbot.
Your inbox gets smaller every week
What it cannot answer becomes an email to you, with the visitor's address and the whole conversation, so you can simply reply. The dashboard shows what keeps coming up. Answer it once and it never reaches you again.
Nothing to integrate, nothing to connect
One line in your website and it is live, plus a link for a QR code at reception. No booking system to connect, no business WhatsApp number to set up, no calendar access requested. Ten minutes from start to answering.
£60 a month, and it stays £60
One price whatever your number of courts, members or questions. No share of your revenue, no per-conversation charge, no minimum term on the monthly plan. A year up front costs £600, which is two months free.
- 01
Give it your web address
It reads your site, prices and opening hours and coaching and membership and how to book, and fills in what it finds. You check every answer before any of it goes live, and it only asks you about the things your website does not say.
- 02
Paste one line into your website
A chat button appears in the corner, isolated from your site's design so that it cannot conflict with it. A shareable link is provided as well, suitable for a QR code at reception or a social media profile.
- 03
Read only what it couldn't answer
Everything else is handled without you. When it cannot answer, it says so plainly, takes an email address and forwards the full conversation to you. Answer it once and the question never reaches you again.
The ones that arrive at 9pm on a Sunday
- How much is a court on Saturday?
- Do you hire rackets?
- Is there parking?
- Can I play if I'm not a member?
- What time do you close?
- Do you do beginner sessions?
- Where exactly are you?
- What's your cancellation policy?
Every one of these is already answered somewhere on your website, in an email your team has sent a hundred times, or in the knowledge of whoever happens to be at reception.
An unanswered question is a booking that goes elsewhere.
Somebody deciding where to play on Saturday asks two or three clubs at once, usually in the evening and usually from a phone. The club that replies first is generally the club they book. A question left until Monday morning has already been answered by a competitor.
A Harvard Business Review audit of 2,241 companies found that 23% never replied to a web enquiry at all, and that the average reply, among those that did, took 42 hours. Across 1.25 million leads, firms that made contact within an hour were seven times likelier to qualify the enquiry than those that waited one hour longer.
What would it be worth at your club?
Put in your own numbers. The three below are only a starting point, and nothing here is an average of anybody else’s results.
£60 divided by your court price. Everything past that is profit.
Your weekly figure across a year. Each one is somebody who was ready to play and asked somebody else instead.
Against £720 a year. That is £424 to the good.
Every figure here is arithmetic on the three numbers above, which are yours to change. Nothing here is an average of anybody else’s club, because a percentage you cannot check is worth nothing.
What it will never do
- Invent a price
- It answers only from the information you have provided. Where you have not, it says so and asks whether the question should be passed on.
- Guess at availability
- It has no access to your calendar, by design. It points at your booking page instead.
- Argue with an unhappy member
- Complaints and billing disputes are passed directly to you, without any attempt at resolution.
Questions clubs ask us
- What does CourtDesk do?
- It answers the questions your club is asked over and over: prices, opening hours, coaching, parking, whether somebody who isn't a member can play. All of it from information you provide once. It answers at three in the morning as readily as at three in the afternoon.
- Does it take bookings?
- No, and that is deliberate. Your booking system already works. CourtDesk never touches your calendar and never guesses whether a court is free. It answers the questions around the booking, then sends people to your existing booking page when they are ready to reserve.
- Then how does it win bookings?
- Somebody deciding where to play on Saturday usually asks two or three clubs at once, in the evening, from a phone. The club that replies first is generally the club they book. A question left until Monday morning has already been answered by a competitor.
- How much does it cost?
- £60 a month per club. No contract, no minimum term, and you can cancel from the dashboard whenever you like. One price whatever the number of courts, members or questions, and setting it up is free whether you do it yourself or ask us to do it for you.
- How long does it take to set up?
- About ten minutes. You answer ten questions about your club, then paste one line into your website. If your club's information is already published on your own site, CourtDesk can read it and you simply confirm what it found.
- Can you set it up for us?
- Yes, at no charge. We read what your club already publishes, write the answers from it, and tune how the assistant sounds before it goes live. Doing it yourself takes about ten minutes, so this is for clubs who would simply rather not.
- What happens when it does not know the answer?
- It says so plainly, then offers to take the enquirer's email address and forwards the whole conversation to you. Answer it once, add it to your club's information, and that question never reaches you again.
- Can it invent an answer?
- It answers only from the information you have given it. Where you have not covered something, it says it does not have that written down rather than guessing. Prices and opening hours are the two things a wrong answer costs you most, and it will not invent either.
- Does it work with Playtomic and MATCHi?
- It works alongside them. It has no access to your calendar and does not try to replace either, it links to whichever booking page you already use.
- Do I need a website?
- No. As well as the embed code you get a shareable link, which works as a QR code at reception, as the link in an Instagram profile, or as a reply to a message.
- Is there anything for recommending it?
- Yes. Give another club your code and their first month is free. Once they have stayed past that first month, a month comes off your own next bill. Your code is in your dashboard, and there is no limit on how many clubs you pass it to.
- Which sports is it for?
- Padel, tennis and squash clubs, and anywhere else built around bookable courts. Nothing in it is specific to one sport, it answers from what you tell it.
Know another club?
Clubs talk to each other, and a recommendation from the club down the road is worth more than anything we could say here. So both sides get a month.
Your first month free, so you pay nothing until month two.
£60 off your next bill once they reach their second month.
Your code is in your dashboard under Settings. Whoever you give it to types it in when they subscribe. Nothing is owed to you until they have stayed past their first month, which is the point: we would rather reward an introduction that lasts than one that signs up and leaves.
Set your club up today
Answer ten questions about your club, paste one line into your website, and it starts answering. About ten minutes from here to live. £60 a month. No contract, no minimum term, cancel whenever you like. We will do the setting up for you at no charge if you would rather not.
If £60 is wrong for your club, email contact@courtdesk.dev and tell us about it. We would rather find a number that works than lose a club over the one on this page.
