Answers without asking
Everything Riverbend Padel & Tennis has published. Ask above for anything that isn’t here.
Prices
- What are your court hire prices, and do they differ peak and off-peak?
- Padel courts are £32 per hour off-peak and £44 per hour peak. Tennis courts are £24 off-peak and £30 peak. Peak is weekdays 5pm–9pm and weekends 9am–1pm. Prices are per court, not per player, so a doubles game works out around £8–£11 each.
Opening hours
- What are your opening hours?
- We're open 7am–10pm Monday to Friday, and 8am–8pm on Saturday and Sunday. Last court booking starts an hour before closing.
Booking a court
- How do people book a court?
- All courts are booked through our Playtomic page. Members can book 14 days ahead, non-members 7 days ahead. You can also call us on 0117 496 0188 during opening hours.
Membership
- Can non-members play, and what does membership include?
- Non-members are very welcome and can book any court at the standard rate. Membership is £39 a month and gets you 20% off court hire, booking 14 days ahead instead of 7, and free entry to club social nights.
Coaching
- Do you run beginner sessions or coaching, and how does someone join?
- Yes. Group coaching runs Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7pm and Saturday mornings at 10am, £14 per person for 90 minutes. One-to-one coaching with our head coach Marta is £45 an hour. Book coaching through the booking link the same way as a court.
New to the sport
- What should someone do if they've never played padel before?
- Start with our Padel Taster on Saturdays at 10am — £14, rackets and balls included, no experience needed and you don't need to bring a partner. Most people are rallying within twenty minutes.
Equipment
- Do you hire rackets and balls, and at what cost?
- Padel racket hire is £4 per racket per session. A tube of three padel balls is £7 to buy, or balls are included free with any coached session. Tennis racket hire is £3.
Facilities
- Do you have changing rooms and showers?
- Yes — changing rooms with showers and lockers for both men and women, plus an accessible changing room. Bring a £1 coin for the lockers or use the code pads. There's a café serving coffee and food until 8pm.
Getting here
- Is there parking, and is it free?
- There are 40 free parking spaces on site, including two accessible bays by the main door. It fills up on weekday evenings, so allow a few extra minutes. There's also a bike rack under cover.
Club rules
- Is there a dress code, and what shoes are allowed?
- No formal dress code, but flat non-marking trainers are required on the padel courts. Running shoes with heavy tread aren't allowed as they damage the surface.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- Cancel more than 24 hours before your slot for a full refund. Inside 24 hours the booking is non-refundable, but you can transfer it to someone else through Playtomic at no cost.
Anything else
- Do you host corporate events, parties or block bookings?
- Yes, we host corporate away days and birthday parties. Block bookings of three or more courts get 15% off. Email hello@riverbendpadel.co.uk with your date and numbers and we'll put a quote together.
